Obituary of Charles Carnegie

Charles C. Carnegie, Jr., 56, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at Ellis Hospital. Charles was born in Schenectady and was a lifelong resident and worked as a bus driver for Schenectady Day Nursery. He is survived by his best friend and wife, June Askew; two sons, Charles Carnegie III and Thomas Askew; granddaughter, Aurora Askew; mother, Mary Carnegie; sister, Linda Carnegie; brother, Curt Carnegie; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles C. Carnegie, Sr. The funeral service will be Thursday 12 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
