Obituary of Agnes Triplo

Scotia - Agnes Triplo passed away on June 27, 2017 a few months shy of her 102nd birthday. Agnes was born in Schenectady, New York on October 14th, 1915. She was the daughter of Domenico and Teresa Federico. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School and briefly worked at GE. In 1948, she married Anthony Triplo. The couple settled in Scotia, New York where Agnes resided until her death. Agnes worked tirelessly as the consummate homemaker before returning to full-time employment at age 52. For 25 years she performed medical transcription with her characteristic perfectionism. When not working, Agnes was fully engaged in life and in the pursuit of fun. She enjoyed golfing, playing the piano, listening to live music and dancing. Agnes is survived by her two sons, Gary Triplo of Blackwood, New Jersey and Joseph Triplo of Stone Ridge, New York; her daughter-in-laws, Margaret Triplo and Gina Calenti and her beloved granddaughter, Nina Triplo. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Her husband, Tony, predeceased her in 2004. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
