Obituary of James A. Santor

Schenectady - James A. Santor passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Friday, October 26, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Jim was born in Jacksonville, NC, the son of James F. and Donna Santor. He attended Linton High School and Schenectady County Community College. For many years he worked in area restaurants and was a bartender at several locations. He loved his family dearly, never forgetting birthdays and adored his nieces and nephews. Jim enjoyed nature, spending time with the family dogs and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Jim was humble, thoughtful and made every holiday occasion and family dinners one to remember. He will always be remembered for his unique personality and sense of humor.

James was predeceased by his father James F. Santor; survived by his mother Donna Santor and three siblings Darlene Santor, Debbie (Gino) Juracka and Mark (Dawn) Santor, all of Scotia; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

The Funeral service will be held at the Daly Funeral Home, Thursday evening at 7 PM, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7PM .
