Virginia (Ginny) M. Landau, age 76, passed away Oct. 21, 2023. She lived in the Schenectady area all her life and worked at Pineridge Industries for many years. For the last 34 years she enjoyed living with her friends in an ARC Residence. Ginny was a friendly, happy, outgoing person who made the most of her life. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her infectious laugh and her caring personality. She touched many lives and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Marjorie Landau and brothers, Thomas and Joseph. She is survived by her sister Nancy Lawrence, brother. Carl Landau Jr. and his wife, Kathy, sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Karen Landau and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Luke's Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady, NY. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Schenectady ARC, 1241 State St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
