The first time I met Dan, I remember thinking and saying what a truly genuine smile he had. Dan was a kind, caring and most of all humble man who made such an impression on everyone he knew. Dan was always there to lend a helping hand, and had the skills to be a perfectionist in all the jobs he tackled, and he sure made a mean burnt hot dog! A great man who will be missed by so many. Rest in perfect peace Dan. Love Elaine

Our family was so Blessed to have Dan in our lives. He was a very kind, caring and always there for everyone especially Melissa. All you had to do was asking him and he was there. If we had more Dan's in this world it would be a better place. Dan will be greatly missed by our Family and all who loved him. He Loved the Lord and Lived the example of Jesus so we know that we will see him again.

Dan We shared are love of the outdoors and hiking many trails and climbing towers. I taught you to be a goofball and hug trees wherever we went. If I spotted a good tree to hug while we were driving you would say you want to go hug that tree dont you. Well here are three trees planted in your name to hug from Beth and I. I am going to miss all our dinners and building stuff planting flowers. demolition for sure but all our conversations 82nd Airborne your childhood stories about your brothers you loving to grill dinners for all my friends any chance you would get. You are my best friend just now youre non physical. You did so much work in my house and for me. everywhere I look there is a memory of you. Everyday I dont get a good morning or hows your day and goodnight text reality sets in. The fact that we will never celebrate our birthdays together makes me cry. You made sure all my butterfly bushes and flowers were planted exactly the way the Queen wanted them. I will never hear you call me the Queen and her palace again. Thank you for loving me like a daughter and teaching me things a father teaches a daughter. I am so grateful you were watching me kick a snowblower and came out to help me December 6th 2019. You started as my neighbor who became my friend and than were part of my family. I never knew when we opened our Christmas gifts went to Panera and got Christmas Fishies I would read my last text and never see you again in physical form. This has been the hardest thing I have had to go through in a long time. I know your flying high and will keep helping guiding and showing me the way. I will make you proud. We will meet again luv ya my BFF. Luv Melissa AKA (Queen)

On behalf of the Wood family, from First Presbyterian in the 1960’s.. Danny was a true friend of mine and my family. He always had a piece of my heart. I am glad he raised a family and kept his Christian faith. It gives me joy to know I will see him in heaven. My condolences to all his family.
