Dear Mueller family,
Although I don't know Norma directly, I have known of her through her son John and his wife Mary for many years now. I know John as a warm, wonderful man, who is successful in everything he does. A skilled leader in industry and an accomplished scientist in academia. More, John is a man with a big heart and a great love of food and cooking. Of horse races and basketball. Of animals of all kinds. But most of all, of his wife Mary. I have seen over years how much John fully cherishes, supports, and respects Mary and her accomplishments. As a female professional of approximately Mary's age, I know how rare that is, and I know how completely secure in his manhood John has to be for him to give Mary his full support and respect. That doesn't happen without the mothering of an extraordinary woman. Thank you Norma, for the way you raised John and the values you gave him. You did indeed make the world a better place.
